Knit Natter
The idea behind this group it that everyone is welcome to come along, have a go at Knitting or crochet in a relaxed friendly fun environment of all ability craft fans, and we hold it in a local Café with a large play area so children are welcome. To be honest we do a fair amount of nattering, which is lovely as the morning flies by and people get the opportunity to come along and have a go, in a coffee morning style environment so no pressure is applied. I have enlisted the help of a couple of long time knitters and crochet fans who also attend the weekly sessions I run, between us we are able to spend time showing people how to knit and crochet the basics, and share hints tips and patterns

Knit and Knatter
We meet every first and third Tuesday from 9.30 until 12 noon at Bramhall United Reformed church, Robins Lane, Bramhall Stockport. We provide the wool, needles, patterns and lots of cups of coffee as well as plenty of chat and laughter. Come when you can and leave when you are ready. We usually knit for a charity or just for ourselves or family or we will teach you to knit. The charities that we support will always be based in the UK and we have so far knitted hats for sailors, blankets for Refuge, and Sands neo-natel, garments for Newlife and Barnadoes as well as supporting our local hospice - St Ann's. In February 2013 we are starting a monthly evening group on the second Monday of each month starting at 7.00 and finishing at 9.30 and as well as coffee we will be offering a glass of wine.

Knit & Natter/Needlecraft Group
We are a small band (about 10 members) who meet weekly to knit, crochet or cross stitch - anything involving a needle! We knit for ourselves, family and friends but are also heavily involved in knitting for charity. Past projects have included 'Teddies for Tragedies' ; hand puppets &/or jumpers. We are currently working on knitting squares to make blankets. Most of us are experienced knitters but we have 2/3 new members who are keen to learn - and we are keen to pass on our knowledge; exchange tips and swop patterns. As our name suggests we are also keen to natter!
