County Durham

Andrea Walton has been knitting for over 45 years and has welcomed national/international commissions from private and corporate clients including Christmas Victorian mice for a high profile London establishment, woodland animals for wedding table settings. toys and garments. Her speciality is teddy bears and dolls, including TV characters. She loves the challenge of crafting unusual requests e.g. designed and made molerats for a DNA research company (no animal testing involved). Andrea also enjoys crafting Aran and Lacework. She regularly donates knitted items to charitable organisations and recently helped raise funds at a local animal shelter by crafting and selling a large number of hedgehogs.
